IC SD70 1021 Leads a pair of Deathstars by the Mattoon Storage on a crisp cold day.

CN L536 making it’s slow trek through Chicagoland on it’s way from CN Glenn Yard to Kirk Yard in Gary, IN.

After holding at Kensington for a South Shore commuter from NWI, L536 blasts through Homewood heading south for the connection at Matteson. On point is IC 1021, a 1999 built SD70.

IC 1021 brings L536 down the Mainline of Mid America as they creep out of downtown. They crawl through this section of track since they have a restriction until fully out of McCormick Place.

IC SD70 1021 heads west through Merrillville, splitting the old GTW g-heads with A491. It's getting rare to find a IC SD70 leading a train outside of local service.
